While Halloween has passed, it’s never too late to share a district’s pride for their students:
Orting High School’s National Honor Society sponsored a Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM for the children of their community!
The National Honor Society Club saw a need in the community for a safe, fun place for kids to go for Halloween. They opened this opportunity, not only for its members, but also for other high school clubs and sports teams. The team spirit of Orting High School shines for their community as many club and team members were excited to participate in this community event! As you can see from the pictures, students had a great time decorating their cars and trucks and handing out candy to the children!
As if that wasn’t enough, the students also accepted canned food donations for the Orting Food Bank!
The District is extremely proud of these high school students! They showed leadership qualities demonstrating initiative, problem solving, and collaboration while positively serving their community!
Way to go Cardinals!
